The Road Back to Art
I've started to get back into art.
When I was young, I loved doing arts and crafts; but somewhere along the way, I lost my confidence. I went through a lot of bullying as a kid and the constant criticisms internalized and became negative self-talk.

Emeryl is a nonbinary queer artist with multiple conditions, including: anxiety, insomnia, digestive issues, and dysmenorrhea. They predominantly do fantasy artwork that is inspired by anime, comic books, and video games to develop their own personal style.

Over the years, Cinco de Mayo has evolved into a celebration of Mexican heritage in the United States.
This year, I'd like to focus on a famous Mexican artist who struggled with chronic pain and health issues: Frida Kahlo.
